Ever since the summer season’s Mahou Tsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto: Natsu no Sora, I’ve been meaning to watch the first season.  I mean, to me, it doesn’t make sense to watch the second seaon without watching the first.  Of course, with that said, it means that I haven’t seen Natsu no Sora yet, but I was more than satisfied with the first one.

Quick Summary, then we get onto the good stuff.

Burn-up Scramble really… burned me out =_=

This is an series that aired in my pre-seiyuu-loving days.  After I started falling in love with my dearest Noto Mamiko, I started digging up series that she voiced a lead in.  After a while, I came across Burn-up Scramble.  Of course, it was from a while back and thus did not appeal to me.  However, after watching Marimite, I wanted to see more Mamiko x Megumi action, and thus my desire to watch Burn-Up Scramble was ignited.

Whatever expectations I had for this series… were sorely left unmet.

It’s been a while since I’ve blogged.  To be honest, I actually have an entry ready to be posted, but I’m awaiting the arrival of a few more pictures before I stick it up.  So that will have to wait.

Now that work is finally over, I finally have some time to watch anime.  This is when I stumbled across this short, sweet OVA series.

Kaiba – hit or miss?

The only reason I ever started watching Kaiba was for the cast: an all-star cast with Kuwashima Houko starring as Kaiba, Noto Mamiko as Neiro (Kaiba’s lover), and Paku Romi as Popo, one of the main antagonists. However, this series turned out to be a bunch of hits and misses with me. *please keep in mind that everything I write is based on the subbed version I watched… meaning I may have misunderstood parts of the original*

I don’t know if I’m biased by the awesome OP and ED animations, but I simply (I’ve been watching too much KKN… I’m starting to sound like Yuuka) adore the OP and ED of IkkiGG.

Kyouran Kazoku Nikki 11: Hyouka’s First Love

I rarely ever do posts on individual episodes of anime (for people who have read my blog in the past), however, I really liked this episode of Kyouran Kazoku Nikki. Hyouka has been my favourite character in KKN since the beginning, so it was nice seeing an episode dedicated to him.

Shigofumi: Letters from the Departed

I know that this is clearly an overdue review for this series.  However, for some very strange reason, I had saved this series until now.  I mean, it was one of my most anticipated series of that season, yet I refused to watch it until now.  However,  I now see that it may have been the right choice: one episode a week would’ve been too little to keep me alive for the full 12 weeks.  The series was absolutely fantastic. Ikkitousen… over-hated series…

I personally have been a fan of the entire Ikkitousen series ever since the airing of IkkiDD (I didn’t know about Ikkitousen at first… I watched Dragon Destiny before I saw the original series).  I know it’s odd for a female to be a fan of this series… but I’ve been a swinging pendulum for a long time (in terms of my sexual preferences), so it’s actually not as odd as it seems. First entry… and it’s already anime related…

The first Kara no Kyoukai was pretty awesome… the fight scene between Maaya (Shiki) and RieRie (the creepy ghost girl) was really smooth… with awesome visuals, smooth transitions, and kickass moves. Obviously, I had high hopes for the 2nd part. Read more
